Black Gold directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud is based on Hans Ruesch's book 'The Arab' aka 'The Great Thirst' or 'South of the Heart: a Novel of Modern Arabia'. The movie starring Antonio Banderas, Tahar Rahim, Riz Ahmed, Freida Pinto and Mark Strong - will open the 2011 Doha Tribeca Film Festival on October 25!
